After seeing that ISG was working on the American’s School Project, I found out a bit more about the company and the graduate programme. I’ve been on the scheme for just over a year as a graduate trainee, and I’ve had some fantastic experiences so far.
I completed my undergraduate degree from Brunel University in Civil Engineering, and my post-grad from Manchester University in Construction Management. The grad programme gives me the opportunity to use the skills gained from both of my degrees, and I’m still constantly learning about the business and wider industry. We rotate around the company so that we can take advantage of the wide range of services and sectors that ISG works in, and we are encouraged to understand each project from the client’s perspective. At ISG it’s all about delivering places that enable businesses and people to thrive.
What’s really stood out for me is the work-life balance you get from working here. I feel like I’ve joined a family since starting at ISG. I’ve had the chance to work with and learn from some of the best in the industry. I’ve made friends, I’ve developed strong relationships and I’m looking forward to seeing how I can continue to grow and excel with the company.
